Anyone play need for speed porsche unleashed?
Wow, this game is amazing. I can drive every porsche! Before playing the game, I never thought much about the boxster, or 914. I would love to have a GT3. After playing this game, the opposite is true (to me). 914s, and boxsters (i drove the 97) look like hella fun. I love letting of the throttle and having that drift effect, and getting back on the trottle i regain traction. The GT3 (in the game atleast) seemed like it had way too much understeer. I would have to get on the brakes, and ofcourse when this happens the rear end swings around because that's where the weight is. My favorite car in the game is the 2.4 S. Oh man that's my new dream car. (before it was the 993 turbo) I don't know about the GT3 yet, I only took it for a lap. Maybe because I was used to driving the less powerful 356, 914, and 65 911, but the gt3 seemed to slide around too much. Is it just me, or do you not have to use brakes with the 914, 911? I just let off the gas and let the weight do it's thing. If I give brakes the tail comes loose, and it's very difficult to get out with counter steer. I know this is only a game, but it seems realistic. When you guys race your early 911, 914, 356 do you use your brakes frequently? I'm guessing you do, but in the game that's not the case. The reason I ask is because I never, and wouldn't dare take my 911 to it's limit. I don't know enough about it's characteristics, but a game is a different story. There's always the reset button.
sorry this is a very messy post, i'm just too excited about the game and want to get back to playing it. (i'm not usually into computer games)
oh yes, any tips on beating the "test drive" part where you have to spin around 360? I can't even get that right if I spend half an hour trying. It's not making the time limit, it's trying to do a 360. I tried handbrake the the car stops and bogs down, goes reverse. ahh it's complicated.
