Tightening the front-nut seems to have helped some, but perhaps it's just that the car is louder now that I've pulled up the carpeting...I feel like if I tighten it any more the shifter won't find its way back to neutral without help. There is still a great deal of front-to-back play.

I thought the Wevo bushing was supposed to solve some problems that the stock bushing has? I'm not even sure what I have back there, but the noise is definitely coming from the shifter.

The sound goes away when I put my hand on it, and sometimes stays away for a bit when I let go.
