Thanks for posting this, made me a little emotional as I've been through all the up and down's, highs and low's the guys at Porsche Motorsport have gone through on their journey to victory.
From winning Le Mans outright at the first attempt, being at the circuit when you're convinced you might have been responsible for killing a driver to losing a F1 world championship two corners from the end of the last race of the season.
I love motorsport and one day when I grow up I might find a proper job

The most (pleasantly) surprising thing I learned working with PM is that, of course they're passionate about their work, but also they're very much down-to-earth, easy going people. For some reason I imagined them to be not very approachable, but that's not true at all. My main contact, a development group leader, once joked about Webber knocking on his office window from outside telling him to put in more effort, at hours already approaching midnight. It's the same guy who has been with PM since the 911 GT1 days, so as someone who is just starting out at the other end of the career, it is really nice to see someone like him still getting excited about the job after all that time. It's not surprising at all that a team made up of people like these can win everything in their 2nd season back.

Won, most people in team's like PM are down to earth, motorsport has a ruthless habit of filtering out the others. Good luck with your WRC family and I'm sure you'll fit right in. Let me know when you need some help as I've got a WRC itch that I need to scratch one day.

M.D. if you're son wants to work for a company like Porsche Motorsport as a dad I'm sure you'll give him all the encouragement and support he needs. If anyone tells him he might be aiming too high, send them my way and I'll explain what a few motorsport mad kids with dreams can achieve if they work hard enough.
