BMW e46 2000 323i, automatic transmission(steptronic)
Reverse lights have stopped working. Inspected the bulbs, wiring and fuse in fusebox and all look fine, so suspect the reverse light switch is the culprit.(right?)
Just went ahead and purchased the reverse light switch for $20, but am unsure of where the location is
. Have searched the internet high and low to only find only forums with poor descriptions and broken hyperlinks to pictures that are no longer available to view. The only information I have going for me is "it is on the tranny".
I'm an amateur at best, could anyone please describe
in detail the location and/or provide pictures and how it is most easily accessed? Please feel free to PM me through e-mail.
