EP36 is your friend.
The line is for us to note where the white/amber LEDs go. You can see the white LEDs by looking straight into them (without power). The white LEDs look yellow on the inside.
The white section can be on the top or bottom, your choice. The important thing with the LEDs is that they point forward. If you put them in backwards (backwards in the lens, that is) they will point to the side of the car and not be very useful for folks directly in front of you.
