Ditto on the tires. Mark Webber once out of F1 commented on how much he loved driving on the Michelins with his Porsche 919. Said you could be within a fraction of a second in lap times from lap one to your last lap, and never once worry about wear. It's not Pirelli's fault either, they've been asked to build a tire that drops off.
Then you wonder how in touch the team managers are... Everybody says there is too much emphasis on aero, and they voted on increasing downforce next year... Seriously!
All the public wants is for the drivers to not be coasting (better tire), more sliding/car control (less aero), and more noise/better sounding exhaust. Joe public does not give 2 $hits about KERS and ERS... It's fine to do that if it guarantees more manufacturers, but you cannot forget the public. I think Todt should go, and I kinda like the guy...
