Here's mine (non-mechanical): Day 2 of a 5 day tarmac rally (closed public roads no speed limits), going downhill in the rain at about 130kmh, reach down to pull heater on to demist windscreen and pull handbrake fill on instead...big trees both sides of the road...managed to release it just before next bend. Didn't tell my navigator until after the stage - he could not see the funny side...
