I don't want to PARF the thread but I'm an atheist and this aspect has never bothered me. It's portrayed as the family's culture, and it seems as valid to show that as a show with Muslims showing the family going to a mosque or Jews celebrating Passover. It would be weird for a family as religious as the Reagans to NOT be shown practicing their religion as much as they do. (Almost as weird as the youngest STILL being a beat cop.)
As for the show itself - I tend to catch it via Netflix, so I'm always a season behind. It's enjoyable, but it's not Must See for me.
