Here she is--weighed in & ready!

After months of Weight Watchers (and the car's been on a serious diet, too), she's back on the road. And Noah's recent post got me wondering how much she really weighs. As of today, 2,480# with a quarter tank of Florida pump premium.

I had hoped for lighter total, since I've weighed nearly every part I've removed. But the rollbar added some weight and I did have the front carpets in for the street! And yeah, I didn't weigh her before the transformation, so I really shouldn't complain.

Taken off--all rear interior parts and insulation, total a/c system (67#), heat exchanger "heat" parts (simple '74 headers now), console, cruise control, various non-essentials

Exchanged for lighter parts--Corbeau seats, front & rear bumpers, front oil cooler, battery, antenna, etc.

What doesn't show is of course the AMAZING change in vehicle dynamics when you lose 300#. On the street or track, this car always makes me smile.
