Fuel sender resistance off?

Mine read from 68 to 4.5 ohm and IIRC it should be about 74 to 3.5ohm or thereabouts.

Gauge shows about right until fuel drops to about 1/5 and then it sticks there. Could not see anything out of order when I took it apart and the plug moved nicely to the bottom of the cylinder and the wires were clean.

Are there different spec senders for different size tanks? IIRC mine used to read right when I bought it.
