Are these normal reinforcements?

Are these normal reinforcements? I have looked for these in other pictures posted but have never seen them.
This is a picture of my 1981 SC Turbo which had a lot of work done when the 1976 3.0l Turbo engine and Turbo 4 speed was installed.

I just see the sway bars in the picture. Can you post a different picture?

Adjust your eyes to the darkness and then look just above the sway bar. Looks like a plate with two holes on each side.

They certainly look like added pieces used to make the trans mount for the 930 4spd. fit the SC chassis.

The mounting cross member for the 930 4spd. is significantly different from either a 915 or G50 trans., so different cross member attachment points would have had to have been fabricated to mate them all together in an SC chassis.

That is what I suspected, just never noticed them on another car. I took that pic about 5 years ago and just got around to posting.

Without a lift this was not as easy as I thought.
Here are the best I could get.

interesting solution to relocate the trans mounting points and it looks like the rear trailing arm pickups are also moved.

Tidy work. Definitely not stock. Certainly appears to be well thought out.
