Pelican Parts Forums - Thank you Wavetrac and Dawe's

A Big thank you to Wavetrac! Story: Bought a New unused Wavetrac LSD for my 77 930 from a member here. He had it advertised as a LSD for a 77 930. I compared his part number with what every Wavetrac retailer had and he was correct. The part says it's for an early 75-77 930 18T coarse spline. I took the part to the shop and my mechanic (Dawe's) explained that 18T coarse spline was incorrect for my car (and every other 930 Turbo). It was supposed to be 43T fine spline. I proceeded to call Wavetrac and explained to them the issue. The rep asked if I had purchased the item from them. I explained that I did not, I told them I bought it from a board member but that it was new and unused. I asked them what options I had. To my surprised the rep simply said send it to us and we'll swap it out for the correct one. The turn around was lightning quick (within a couple of hours of receiving the item). They even covered up to 3 days of shipping back to the shop. That is what I call EXCELLENT customer service for a person who wasn't technically their direct customer.
