934-ish front spoiler ID help please
Hi all,
Does anyone know the name of the front spoiler / valance on this car? It look like a 934 style, but it matches regular 930 front guards (ie. not the extended versions found on 934’s). Any and all help or leads appreciated. ![]()

I am planning for a 934 style front valance. this one says it will work with turbo flares.

Looks like an AIR 934 front spoiler that the fiberglass was reshaped and shortened on ends to fit stock 930 fender flares.

That site says "
Front spoiler for 934 group 4 or 5 cars.. The spoiler is made from fiberglass (lightweight part). Will fit all 911 turbo flared cars from 1974-1989. The 934 front fender flares are needed to mount this spoiler." 934 flares needed. Quote:

![]() Looks like a 934-935 cut up to fit. Not a very good job at all.

Man that really looks good. What "valance" and splitter is that, AIR? I think I am headed in that direction as well....
I purchased some AIR products for a RS I was building back in the 90's, and their product was excellent build, true hand layup back then, not chopper gun. But it did require fabrication to make it fit.

That valence is from AIR. The splitter is a VW part. Lmk if you need any more info.

Tug,
I’m curious to learn what splitter you are using as well. I’ve been hunting for a 934 style valence to fit a 930 but haven’t found anything that doesn’t require the 934 fender extensions. Rich

my current plan, subject to change, is for an LS7 conversion. I was thinking of a 934 valance as I am considering 3 radiators up front to enable track time.
long time before I have to make a decision. my slantnose came with a valance like tug68 but no splitter. guess I could just use the fog light openings.....

If you compare the 911 narrow body and the 930 you will see the front rubber spoiler is different. The 930 wraps all the the way to the guard whereas the 911 stops, level with the underside of the bumper. The 911 then utilises a fill in panel between the valance and the guard. This is what is needed to fit a 934 spoiler to a 930, which is shown in the closeup above and not cut up as stated.
The 934 flare does away with the need for a fill in panel because it is extended to cover this gap. These “adapters” were available through some kit manufacturers back in the 70’s. |

Here's another source:
Miscellaneous | Getty Design LLC I just realized it's for the 934 flares as well. Check out the site, they might have other options.
