Should I Cut access hole for crank pulley
Should I cut a access hole for my crank pulley like the motor on the cover wane Dempsey book. Or will that allow excessive heat into the engine compartment . From the turbo? I hate not being able to turn the motor by hand. Can't access the crank bolt.

I find it convenient to put a socket on the pulley bolt through a hole in the console to turn over the engine.
