Correct Factory Radio 1987 Porsche 930 Turbo?
Which Blaupunkt radio does 1987 Porsche 930 (911) Turbo have factory installed?
Some say Blaupunkt* RENO SQR 46 but others say Blaupunkt BREMEN SQR 46. Can anyone clarify? Do not want the DAB version |

My 1987 had a Blaupunkt RENO SQR46. It looks like the BREMEN is a newer updated replacement, looks pretty good actually.

Thank you.
Want to try and keep as stock/factory as possible. There have been no mods to car. The BREMEN is definitely more updated but wondering if I ever sale 930 Turbo should I install the RENO or BREMEN for resale value? |

No Prob. If you are looking to install a correct looking radio I would find a BREMEN, just because it will likely work better, and you won't have to find cassette tapes. I do not think it would change resale any unless it is a 2000 mile museum ready type car. Just my opinion.
EDIT; And will still have the original crappy sound, because the stock speakers are too small and crap.

My first 930 (rip) had a Los Angeles. We’ll I should say it came in a box with the car. Code protected but luckily the PO wrote down the code. I tested and works perfectly

Here is a picture of an original and unrestored with extremely low miles RoW 1987 930 that was imported locally here, the radio appears to be Toronto SQR48

When I bought my 930 years ago, it was without a radio. After a long search I found a Bremen SQR46. Unfortunately, according to the Porsche birth certificate and delivery certificate, it is the wrong radio. 85+86 930 had the SQR45 in different versions (Toronto, Reno, Bremen, etc.)
87 930 have the SQR46. I have a Blaupunkt factory remanufactured Bremen SQR46 with new belts. It is currently installed in my 85 930 and works perfectly. the Bremen SQR46 belongs to a 87 930 Unfortunately it's the wrong radio for my 1985 930 so I'm looking for a SQR45 in very good condition. We're happy to swap. I forgot to say, the SQR46 has a code, a code card and the description. It comes from an employee from Weissach-a friend of mine. I would be happy to make you a video. Thank you for replies.
908/930: Not a garage queen at 60k miles but would like factory specs to best of my ability. kamaro: never seen SQR 48 from factory, could be due to RoW? Dominik 930: That is my understanding regarding SQR 45 now after more research. I have not seen many GOOD condition SQR 45 but will search. There appears to be nice one on eBay from user "classicplayers". |

For a period correct look while having modern functionality, the ‘new’ Bremen SQR46 is excellent with Bluetooth (music streaming and phone) as well as multiple USB and aux inputs. If you find the proper as-delivered unit you can quite easily interchange them.
