930 differential output shaft - special length required
Hi all,
I'm in the final design stage of designing a Hayabusa powered open wheel hill climb (bitumen) car with a 930 LSD to take the torque. My question is "who makes special parts" like a 55 mm extended length stub shaft" ? Here is a pic of my proposal to show the layout. A machine shop that specializes in gears should be set up to make splined shafts, some other general shops will possibly have the tooling.

Well above my pay grade but look for Matt Monson he could have a clue.

Why not just make a spacer to run between the flange and the CV, and run longer bolts? Why does it need to be at the gearbox side?
