930 differential output shaft - special length required
Hi all,
I'm in the final design stage of designing a Hayabusa powered open wheel hill climb (bitumen) car with a 930 LSD to take the torque. My question is "who makes special parts" like a 55 mm extended length stub shaft" ? Here is a pic of my proposal to show the layout. Cheers John |

A machine shop that specializes in gears should be set up to make splined shafts, some other general shops will possibly have the tooling.

Why not just make a spacer to run between the flange and the CV, and run longer bolts? Why does it need to be at the gearbox side?
