Engine to Chassis Number Matching Verification

I am looking at a car for possible purchase. The seller does not have a COA or anything to verify matching numbers. Can someone please assist with either pretty solid confirmation, or at least a good ballpark? Thanks.

Year model 1979
Chassis 9309801033
Engine 6890750

The Chassis would be a correct nukmber for a 1979 930 USA model. The engine number looks to fall in the range at least as well for that chassis number.

Thanks. I was hoping somebody out there has a 79 and could bounce their numbers off this car and at least give me a ballpark.

Vin# 0610. 423 units before yours
SN. 6890439. Maybe 311 units before yours. I don't know how the engine SN's worked. I don't think they were in order like the chassis.

I can assist with a CoA to know exactly what engine it should have. The cost is reasonable compared to the value of the car with or without the matching engine. Email for more info.
