Curious if BAT try to beat you down on your reserve?

Anyway, you mentioned yours currently needing a rear wheel bearing and reweld anti roll bar mount . Can that be taken care of, or is getting it into a repair shop tedious, considering not being registered? From my experiences with rear wheel bearing failures it should not be driven much to prevent even further damage. I did not want to ask this in the bat auction comments. Thanks, Tony@VoitureLTD.

Thanks Oheggem and M5guy,. Yup, hoping folks really like what they see and bid accordingly
Anthony - I'm selling it as is. I just hadn't gotten around to doing the rear wheel bearing, wanted to be transparent that it's been on my to do list. The anti roll bar mount must have recently cracked from potholes on Sonoma county roads. Cheers- Glenn

That may be true, if the seller is willing to accept their dictatorship on what the reserve should be. It happened to me. They did not accept my car because I was not willing to reserve it at the number they wanted .

Well, I won't share the $ number, but it was actually slightly above what I was thinking.
Sorry it didn't work out for you, Juan. We'll see. If it doesn't work out I'll figure out plan B

Food for thought BAT wanted lower reserve than my price Cars and Bits wanted 20k lower than the BAT, Pmarket agreed with my reserve and it was very easy to deal with them, so we will try that in the next few weeks. What I have noticed is, that well build cars that could go for 90k+ there's a lot of people thinking they can grab them for 60k or less.

Absolutely stunning 930, incredible build.
I'll be watching on BaT and dropping a supporting comment or two.

I think many of the people bidding to high levels on the 930s on BaT are new buyers that haven't owned / researched a 930. Chris from TurboKraft posted once that the overboost switches he's tested, brand new from Porsche didn't work right / were out of spec. So to someone who has done their research, a car with all the bugs worked out, that runs great and has safeties on it like knock control, boost solenoid cutoff for lean AFR, etc makes sense. Those are great upgrades. But to people who have never really researched these cars (including me 2 years ago when I bought mine ) a bunch of non-stock looking gauges and non-factory wiring looks like a non-Porsche approved mess. I think the market bidding these cars up is in love with the look of the 930 and the idea of it, hyper focused on it "being original", and not necessarily the reality of the way these engines really were from the factory. I hope the OP's BaT listing goes well, it looks like a great car.
