can anyone POINT to thread for Running new fused power and relays to pumps

I have already done the shade tree DIY split the fused power DIY. I have been searching last few days. I know turbo kraft has sold kits before ....has to be a write up!!

I need to get 13vto my pumps....but I dont want to affect anything else that is relying on the power to Pump #2......like the warmup circuits....

1979 930 (Euro) Fuel Pump Relay wiring issue

thank....maybe itsCOVID brain fog...but I cant figure this one out....

It’s very simple. I used two common 4 pin Bosch relays. I ran two wires from the battery positive with inline fuses to the two relays. And then connected the wires to the two pumps on the other side of the relays. I then used a fuse connection on the fuse panel that is only hot when keyed to turn the relays on, and then of course grounded the other side of the relays. So each pump has its own power line and the current to energize the relays off the fuse box is minimal. I’m going to add two inexpensive ford inertia switches in line with the power wires to shut the power off in an accident.

About $15 and an hour or so. It’s all out of sight and tidy under the carpeting.

Thans for that..Makes perfect sense. I found the fuel pump wiring schematic on this thread...

1986 930 Fuel Pump Wire Diagram

I was concerned about negatively affecting the WUR / THERMO S wiring.....and the ground off the air meter switch.

My plan is to leave that all intact and just run a new fused power line.

I have relays and marine rated 10G arriving tomorrow....I think the eyelets on the pumps will be the worst part...

Do all 930s through 1989 need this mod or did Porsche do it this way after a while?
