Garage
Rod, is it backfiring like a pistol shot or like bubble wrap?
Have you cleaned the injectors? That would be my first thing to eliminate and then move to other possibilities.

Best of luck

Rahl

My '82 rumbles like crazy on decelleration with a Hooligan muffler. With the initial let off of the throttle it's a loud pop then series of burbling/popping. With a stock muffler it was silenced pretty good, with the muffler on it now it can be obnoxious at times but I like it.

Thanks for the replys.
It is probably the injectors need cleaning and the Holligsn muffler.
I appreciate you input...

You have a hooligan exhaust from Rarlyl8?

Lots of popping, burbling and other awesome noises on decel. I love mine.
Maybe get a video of it for us to hear?
