934 Question
The 934 was the Group 4 version of the 930, so I think this is the best place. On the 934, and early 930's, there is a small cooler inside the whale tail, under the small grill. There are In and Out lines hooked to the left hinge.
What is this cooling? I am assuming, it's a transmission oil cooler. Where do the lines connect? The reason I ask, is like a few others on the forum, I am doing an upgraded build of the Tamiya kit, which will include adding a few missing lines. This has been the mystery line. |

if its attached to the decklid, its the ac condenser.

I believe it's a transmission cooler but I don't know for sure. You could use something like this:

Here is the Group 4 934 engine compartment. Are you referring to the air/water intercooler water tank?

I see what you are referring to. I found this 1976 934, VIN 0060022. It does not seem to have a tail mounted cooler. Interesting.
