Shout out to Turbo Kraft and Wevo
I have not been as active as when I first got the car, but came back here when I needed a new clutch to see if anything had changed. It hadn't. Chris is still the man. I twisted myself into circles researching clutch kits. I finally went old school and called Chris and he set me up with what I needed. I went ahead and did the Wevo shifter and coupler as well. What a difference.
Hopefully, I won't continue to be a stranger, but time seems to be too much of a tight commodity these days. At least it is not busy at work anymore. No not retired, just don't care to work 60+ hours, hell even 50 anymore.

Chris set me up with a nice light weight clutch system too.
His advice is always gold plated. Alan

Always great talking to Chris. We discussed detuning my beast earlier this week and I can't wait to get started on the project sometime this summer.
My recent shifter story: After completely rebuilding my 930 this year after the recent paint job, I got to the Hill Country Rallye and couldn't find reverse. I had just hooked up my old Wevo shifter and adjusted the old Wevo coupling so I couldn't figure out what was wrong. I asked my friend Jamie to jump in my car and see if he could tell what was wrong. He jumped in, moved the shifter around, and said, "remove your shifter, I'll be back in a minute". I took the shifter apart in the hotel parking lot and when I got it out I found the bushing at the front of the shift rod in about a dozen pieces! Jamie handed me one of his new bushings, I installed it, and I must say it made more of a difference than the Wevo shifter and coupling did! His bushing thread: https://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-911-technical-forum/1117369-ultimate-shift-rod-bushing.html EDIT: I just looked through the thread and see Jamie is not responding to requests. I know he travels A LOT so maybe hasn't had time but he's definitely around.

I really like my Wevo shifter except when upshifting from 1st to 2nd...takes too long to slide in. I think it's because the rpms are dropping off too quickly; need to keep those r's up for a clean shift. I find that a short stab on the throttle between shifts works very well. All other shifts smooth as silk.

which seems to work fine. But, my issue is upshifting from 1st to 2nd: I won't win any races with the short time lag but find a throttle blip helps a bunch.

I rang Chris last week on my NA 3.2 to Turbo conversion. It was a ridiculously helpful convo and it was generous of him to chat given that I hadn't bought anything from them yet. Putting together my order now!

Chris's work and support on my car was some of the best money I have ever spent.
The car makes well over 400whp and when not driven in anger behaves like a Camry. It hasn't even seen a trickle charger since TurboKraft did their work.
