Rear deck struts

Are struts for a non spoiler deck adequate for a 930? If not, what should I use?

Parts listing I have only shows one part number 911 512 331 02
This agrees with the Pelican Parts website.
Not sure if there are better options.

911-512-331-02 is the correct part. I just replaced mine in February.

After replacing my struts in the rear and the front several times in my 15 year ownership I finally switched to the Rennline mechanical struts all around. I love these things and don't expect to ever replace them again.

my gut on the frequency of these failing is proportionate to their (lack of) usage - use them more often and they last longer

I replaced mine when got it 18yrs ago and they've been fine since 8)

Using them more often is simple enough considering the many times we find ourselves popping the lid to sort out the failure du jour.

I replaced my rear ones once and if I recall one in particular was a royal pita to get to.

I've given up on struts due to their short lives. Have carbon prop rods from a poster on Pelican both front and rear.
