EFI Injector Sanity Check

Hello,

I知 in the process of building a 3.0 EFI conversion with a turbo. I知 in a bit overwhelmed by all the different fuel injectors out there. With that said, need a sanity check on whether this injector will work with my setup. Based on my HP goals and the fact it痴 a turbo, I知 planning on 60lb injectors. Below is the injector I知 planning on buying. Will this injector work with my setup?

https://www.bmotorsports.com/shop/product_info.php/cPath/144_146/products_id/4468

Here痴 my setup:
MS3 Pro
Carrera intake and fuel rails
Aftermarket FPR

You're right to double-check before buying injectors — selecting the wrong ones can cause major tuning headaches.

Those injectors have two spray cones, one for each intake valve on a four valve engine. For a two valve engine they wind up spraying a lot of fuel at the port walls. A single spray cones would be better. The 60 lb spec is fine. Check out a Siemens 107961.

Good point. I’ll make sure to look for single spray cone type of injectors.

It really helps to know the actual injector dead time and other timing parameters when trying to tune low load running, like idling. Finding this information for a set of injectors is not always easy unless the manufacturer provides a data sheet or you send them out to be measured.
