MS3 Pro Idle Control
 
Hey all,

Hoping I can get some help with my EFI conversion. I’m converting my 3.0 to EFI using a MS3 Pro and a Carrera manifold.

Are you repurposing the stock idle control valve on the manifold? If so how do you have it wired?

If not using a Carrera idle control valve, what are you using to control your idle?

I use the Ecumaster EMU Black and the stock idle valve. Here's a pic of my settings... no idea if they are correct but it works!
12V to the centre pin then the two aux connections to the other pins.

This is what I'm using with my MS3 Pro Evo with stock Carrera manifold and IAV valve.

yes you can use a stock 3.2 carrera idle control valve, I did that when I converted my old 3.2 to full EFI with Microsquirt, I did that because it was there from the begginning, but since you are starting from a CIS then I strongly recommend to use a universal one (like this one from Clewitt https://www.clewett.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=434), which is more user friendly and easier to connect.

Thanks Kamaro for the idea and most importantly the wiring advise, this will certainly help me. I forgot to mention I have a complete 3.2 Carrera intake with all the attachments😉. So I would like to try and repurpose the ICA it came with.
