It’s not often that you get the opportunity to cruise around a nearly empty Daytona Speedway especially with out security hassling you. I took this during the PCA Club Race. Thought I’d share.
Enjoy, R

Yeah that was nice being able to go pretty much wherever you wanted at will. I'm sure it will be different next year and following years as the event grows and organizes itself better (not that it was poorly organized at all).

Wanna have some fun? Go to the 24 hr race and hang out a few hours after the race. Drive anywhere you want (except on track), talk to anyone, anywhere.

Nice ride. I must admit I stopped in front of it (to drool) a little bit.
Anybody have more pics? The race cars were sweet. I couldnt return Sunday for the enduros. Here are some pics I took of the leaders in the sprint races- most during lap one or two(except that bad ass 914 cut out in front onto the banking on lap one but after several laps gave up fighting against the cup car). The top qualifiers led each sprint start to finish. What happend in the enduros. I need pictures the numbers in the pca pdf are not easy to know which car it was. So many different 911 motors, exhaust combinations -some really screamed. A few turbos realy caught my eyes/ears too.
