Gents,
I'm planning to have my car completely re-sprayed (original color) in a few months and am considering updating from the impact style bumpers to a more cleaner modern look. I really like the C2T look, but this seems to be a very common update. If I had the cash, I'd really like to do one of those ultra-wide 993TT style conversions (13" wide guards), but this is pretty extreme as I'd have to change fenders too ![]() What do you guys think? My options: 1. RUF CTR style bumpers & mirrors 2. C2T style bumpers & rockers with RS3.8 Turbo Tail 3. Mega-wide 993TT style body update Just throwing some ideas in the air right now ![]() BTW, the car is a black cabrio ![]()

The above picture is T!ts. But a 94' 3.6 turbo replica in black is pretty sick as well- the Ruf option is also very viable and good-looking. All three of the options will yield a hell of a good looking automobile.
Merv, also because your car is a cab, you could do a 3.6 turbo body, use a speedster windshield, and the speedster rear clamshell- that would be amazing. Or what if you were to do a wide body 993 speedster, Ive never seen that.

Hmmm, never really fell in love with the Speedster shape to be honest.
It's a toss up between the 3.6 Turbo look, and the look of that 993 above. The 3.6 Turbo look would be a cheaper option since I don't have to go changing fenders/guards, but I really REALLY like the look of the 993 widebody ![]()

Mmmm, your Bluebird does look very slick
![]() Agree, the 993 above is SCHWIIIING material! With that sort of body, I may also have to update the soft top to the more streamlined 993 top, or fit one of those removable 930 hard tops to my cab ![]()

Merv, isn't your car a factory widebody? And you're considering hacking off the rear fenders?
Just put some smooth bumpers on it. You'll be happy. ![]()

Yeah, it's a M491 Carrera with the factory turbo guards. As much as I love the 993 look, the cost to do such a conversion would be out of my budget and by the time I factory in the new lights etc, it'd be way over
![]() I like the C2T look, so I think I'll stick with that classic stylin ![]()

Merv, what dont you like about the speedster? I think the speedster humps in the back would look dead sexy. If not that the raked front windscreen would like pretty tight as well. To each his own, your car will still look mint regaurdless.

Leave it as the factory built it. It's one tough mother of a car you have. Those C2 kits are like *********s, everybody has one.
