throttle linkage w/3.2 intake
Most 930's with the 3.2 intake conversion have to reverse the linkage for throttle. I was checking out the cable actuated system on the 3.6 intakes and it seems as though this would be a good way to go.
Thoughts? Pictures? john

I reused my 930 bracket, but used the Carrera shaft, arms, and springs. The original throttle rod from the transmission bell crank to the engine worked fine.

You must of cut and reversed the manifold? I didn't do that so I am using stock Carrera stuff. Except I had to build a new rod down to the tranny cause of the G50.
I would see if I could make a rod to make it work.

Here's a shot a little closer (and blurrier):

John, I reversed the direction of the ball stud on the 930 bellcrank to accept the Carrera rod which connects to the throttle body. At the time I considered buying the stock Carrera parts but figured it would set me back a week or so with delivery.
I'd estimate that building the parts to hold a cable sheath and integrating the cable onto your 930 bellcrank and Carrera throttle arm would be a similar amount of work to what I did. On the other hand what David is suggesting would be seamless with no modifications required. |

I did have a problem with the throttle not closing completely so I added a small spring inside the large spring on the throttle body.

sorry, forgot to mention that I have decided to flip manifold 180 for more direct air flow
seems to be the way to go since I am having an intercooler custom built (bell) john
