Need intercooler for 3.2 plenum

I need to get an inter cooler for a 3.2 plenum 930. I had one made that came out all wrong and now want a guaranteed piece.
I don't want to go to Blown 6 after hearing all of the controversy surrounding payments and not getting the inter cooler.
So if anybody has a suggestion, please let me know as I am about to go insane.

I have a C2T intercooler for sale if you are interested...

Please contact me at gab965@gmail.com

why don't you custom build one.

Gerhart, at Bell Intercoolers....contact him, he has a design for the 3.2 intake..... allot fo folks with efi are running the I/C, and it not all that expensive....

Yerman: I had one made and they made a flop out of it (200 degree air intake temp @ 14 Psi, 2nd dyno pass) I just want an intercooler and need it fast. I have a nice core for sale if anyone is interested.

Turbobrat: How much horse can the one that you speak of hold? I am going to look him up.

Porscharacer: I sent you a PM

I believe DonE and a few others came up with the design... I will post a picture of the I/C in a few minutes

Turbo brat, I just looked at the site, they look very professional.... But look very expensive. I know beggers cant be choosers but they seem pricey. What do you think I could expect to pay for a 700 horse intercooler?

930gt-40r 06-06-2007 01:43 PM

Wow! That looks good- I like

I think they go for around $1600.

I think 930gt-40r is looking for an intercooler of higher quality.

Alot of people that end up buying them, end up selling them. I think they are ok for low boost levels, just like there headers.

Once you get over 400rwhp, it is a whole different ball game.

I could have not said it better......

Im just so p!ssed that the I/C that I had made turned out badly that I just want to get it done so I can make a real horsepower pass. The Intercooler made 200 degree air temps at 14 Psi and 400 Hp. I took the I/c off and used a bypass pipe instead of the I/C and I swear that it has cooler temps than the I/C put out. If I am not imagining this, it means that the end tanks I had made were so bad that the air was compressing inside, heating up, and releasing into the intake. Either way I need to come to a conclusionan so I could make the numbers that the car deserves. 400 isnt a bad number, but for efi and a T-4 it is really sub-par.

I got mine from Gerhard @ Bell Intercooler as well. Different design than DonE's but works very very well. Even on a 90+F days, my intake air temp is has less than 10F variance between idle, cruise and hard on track for 30min.

Those bells look like they kick @$$, I would really like to get one, The only way I wouldnt get a Bell is if someone performs a miracle on the big core that I have.

what do you need changed? We can do most mods that may need to be done

YermanCars 06-07-2007 07:29 AM

I could have AMS build one for you, or you could just buy my new one.
