Guess now I know how you really feel concerning my welding abilities!
There is still time to fab another one, get the jig made and a few units out before the Ventura show. I will definitely include a packing slip next time Ben! Ha! |
Finished the revised version of the 934 Zork/WG
Looks like the BBS is back up.
I finished the revised 934 W/G dump for a customer today. Looks pretty good. The pipe tucks up higher so it cannot be seen from behind and comes down at a better angle to meet the Zork. This one is overdue and has to ship so I'll be making yet another that will be used to copy for mass production. There is also a support bracket that attached to the turbo. Don't really need it but it will help prevent cracking in the long haul. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1188791619.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1188791654.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1188791811.jpg |

Paul,
I have started on the passenger's exit muffler with driver's exit wate gate, it is next in line. I promised the customer I would get out the 934 W/G to him ASAP so it had to take front seat. If you would Paul, e-mail me a picture of your bumper. I don't think the exits are the same as they would be for a 930. Also, the PS configuration is going to be loud due to the lack of a long tail pipe. What is you noise level preference? Spence - It will be a couple of weeks before I can get another 934 W/G dump fabbed up and a fixture made for production. I'll put your name on the list for contact when it is ready. |
Rarly, picture will be mailed tonight.
Yes, the exhaust reliefs are more toward the vehicle centerline than a 930. The driver's side pipe is for the wastegate which is a cat from the factory. A replacement pipe for that would be nice as well. I'm thinking that for the 3.3 964 turbo the flange and muffler that you are making for the 930 would fit but a different exit pipe from the muffler would be required. As far as sound goes a little more attitude than the factory set-up has would be nice. With a pipe on the wastegate the sound would be race car loud when it opens  but I could live with that :D |
