Best color for a 77 3.0 Turbo, originality aside

Having a real hard time with making a decision on this......

Original Silver/Black, great color combo, but does nothing for me on this turbo. Would like a jelly bean or fun color. I have no intention to sell, making this my keeper, so originality not so important for me. Will keep it a Porsche color, preferably a 77 color but not required. I love many of the early/ period correct colors but was wondering if there was a consensus on a favorite for a early turbo that is "warmed over".

My build is what I think someone would do if they were hot roding a car in the day, it is a no sunroof, no A/C, single mirror car.

Car is down to a shell and ready for paint. My last car was Tangerine, so would like to do something other than continental orange.

Thank you for your replies.

Jimmy

Leaning towards Lilac, but Arrow Blue and Lime green and the fail safe,
Continental Orange.

Those are some of my favorite Pcar colors. I really like the Arrow blue also.

I'm a fan of Mexico Blue, so that's the way I'd go. But Signal Orange, NATO green and Miguel's chocolate brown are also favorites of mine. That Arrow Blue is nice, too. Viper Green is also pretty, but everyone ones it.

Purple (lilac) would be my vote. No other car can pull it off. I'd also agree that signal yellow is a mean color.

It appears burnt orange/signal orange is making a comeback of sorts, in the new car market. I recently saw a Dodge Challenger coming towards me and in spite of its bulk, the color really pops, making all the other cars in the procession dull in comparison.

I'm partial to the color of my car which is Minerva Blue.

But my other favorites are Lime Green and Mexico Blue.

Another vote for Minerva Blue which is a correct color for the year. The 930 hips really look great in this color. Never fails to get compliments, even when sitting amongst modern 100k+ super cars. I like arrow blue if you want a solid color over a metallic.

Partial to Ice Green Metallic. Nothing better than a green turbo, Ferry's personal 930 color.

.

I love the tone of blue on LS1951's 1976 930. I have no idea on the name of the color but he once mentioned that it was OEM.

I do like the more subdued shades of green on a 930. I have seen some modern cars with really reserved greens on them and I think some of these would look fantastic on a 930.

I would also like to see a 930 in subaru world rally blue. I think it would look great.

If you really want to stand out go for Isotope Green from the lotus catalog. I litterally see an Isotope green Elise from a mile away on the freeway.

I think that may be Albert Blue.
