935 Tail on the Street....complications/problems?
Does ANYONE run a 935 tail on the street as pictured below? If so, what are the problems with it, is it legal? I know its big, but its looking like i'm ending up making a customized 935 Martini Porsche...

Why American International Racing of course! Although in France I'm not sure who would make it. Thanks for the compliment!

I don't see any issues with the tail being legan but the headlights are not DOT reg.
That's a cool looking wing! If memory serves, didn't they run 19" wheels on the rear with really tall tires to get past the width restrictions (for traction)?

Here in the states a 935 tail is still within reason for "visual" legal street use. As to how much you'll get harassed by your local law enforcement really depends on where you live. European/TUV stuff I haven't a clue.....
Here in upstate NY I could get away with that easy.

If you can drive down the interstate with a matress tied to your roof a simple wing shouldn't be a problem. Idiots dump ladders and 4x8 sheets of plywood on the road every day around here.

930s rule the wasteland

Good one Brian ,my brother in law once admitted to me that a table he was moving blew off the back of his pick up and gernaded on the interstate,he watched the cars behind him swerving and avoiding the mess as he floored his truck and chalked it up as a loss. Check your state inspection laws on the 935 wing . Here in Virginia you might get away with it if it has antique tags.
