Working on ordering a set of Kodiak wheels. Jeff needs to know if I have 'early or late' hubs - a '21 mm difference'. Heck if I know - and he does not -
What do I have from the factory?

The car is an 82, and my part catalogue on lists the 78/79 and the 84-89. Pet also does not seem to show the years....
Craig, do you by chance know the offset or backspace of your current front Kinesis wheels? Cheers

Front is 930-341-065-00 up to 1980 and 930-341-065-01 from 1981 according to our host. Rear is 930-331-065-03 which appears to be them same up to 1986. I would say you have "late" hubs by the numbers.

I would say you have late. They look like mine. As stated I am sure that '81 on had the later hubs.

Is it safe to assume there are only the two different hub offsets from 78-89?

Yes, the later one places the wheel mounting surface in the same spot as the early one with the spacer on it.
Cheers

Looks like the late style to me. Either way you should get wheels for the later hubs in case you convert to big reds. AFAIK, all 78-on 930's should have the same front wheel offset, the only difference is whether or not it has the 78-79 model's 21mm spacer. I'm not sure what the 76-77 930's have.

Jeff is right, I have both, the early ones ( I have an 80 are two piece), later ones are one piece like you have..
