Pics of inside front trunk.
Hi, I've been searching for ages but haven't had much luck, perhaps you can help please.
My car has been in the shop for 2 years+ (don't ask!) before it went in for a couple of reasons everything removable in the trunk was taken out and put in storage Could someone kindly point me to a pic so I can see how the toolkit & compressor are supposed to be stowed so they don't fly about Also my car never had a washer wiper motor - I know where the new one should go, but not how to mount it - there doesn't seem to be a bracket to fix it to. Again if anyone has a pic I'd be grateful. Thx |

The origonal vinyl tool kit folds up and snaps together. It stows away under the factory jack in front of the spare tire.
The oversized over engineered Taiwan made origonal tire pump they put in there doesn't fit anywhere to secure it from flying around and thats why I sold mine and bought an inexpensive but well made tire pump from harbor freight. 12V Air Compressor - 120 PSI, High Volume that comes in a nice little nylon cordura bag. It's on sale for $25 right now and it's made of metal instead of injection molded plastic like the weird origonal one. It fits snug down out of view under the trunk carpet in the small space between the front condensor fan, spare tire, gas tank, and factory jack. It stays put there and doesn't fly around in the trunk possibly making dents in the hood from the inside. The origonal washer pump is built into a steel bracket that has small flexible rubber mounts that press into small holes in the front bulkhead in front of the battery. Hot tip on the codura bag .....
Glue some velcro tape(the hook side) to the side of the bag. In my case, the velcro sticks to the carpet and keeps the bag secure.

This was my solution I used for the compressor and other items.I made a tray out of wood and covered it with a some trunk carpet I got from my local Porsche wrecking yard.I used velcro to the carpet and it worked out great.I have a 16x6 fuch getting refinished at Al Reed to match my rims and I will have the collapsible tire mounted on it.Other than that I am going to add an elephant racing removable strut brace and I should be done.

Nice trunk Keely but that does not exempt you from posting the obligatory pics of your 930 and an introduction. If I may, I know that your car has to be gorgeous with a trunk like that.

Nice looking frunk. Clean...
Anybody interested in picking up one of those Harbor Freight compressors for me and mailing it up to Canada? Just drop me a PM. Thanks. For the record, I wasn't suggesting doing it for free or something... 12V Air Compressor - 120 PSI, High Volume ![]()

Using this thread, what does the rear lisence plate inline fuse look like in the driver side trunk area?
My plate lights won't work now that I tried to install the rsr units and there is no voltage at the wires. |
