What is this under my seat?

I own an 87 930. I took out my seats to install a short shift kit and noticed this huge plate under my passenger seat.

My guess is that it's for the old (Ginormous) cell phone box that is now missing.

If so, I see an antenna wire that goes to my rear window, and some other wires.

What are the other wires for and can I just remove them... I mean would I ever possibly need them again and for what?

They used to call them "car phones" ,, Antenna pretty much gives it away

Bryan, after thinking about it, I believe that is the remnants of an old trunked 800mgz phone system!

Sale it to the Smithsonian!
