problem at5400 rpm's
This morning I took my car out and after it warmed up I pushed it in 2nd gear at about 4200 rpm's the car was not pulling as strong and at 5400 rpm's it started to buck, pop and back fire. I tried to shift to 3rd the clutch had very little pressure (hit the floor easily)and 3rd would not go in until the rpm's dropped below 2500. Drove the car home not pushing it and every thing was OK.
I think it's time for a new clutch ,what do you guys think?

Could be...but I'd check the cable adjustment and omega spring first....always start with simple...

Sounds as though you have more than one problem.

That sounds like the front motor mounts dropped or somthing. I dont know why else all this would happen at once. Maybe you got a boost leak at the same time or your WUR expired.
