Let me see your 930's
I am researching 930's as I will be ready to purchase when I get back from Europe (2 years(ish).
I find that I am growing less fond of the front and rear bumper details, they seem a little fussy to me. I would like to see what people have done to change the OEM front and rear bumpers. Thanks all!!! |

You may find a nice one over there (non sunroof
![]() Get a 78 or 79... they are great years! although I am bias.. I rather like the euro bumpers.. I HATE the US set up ..far to chunky.. but the euro look fine! -EM

Or you could find a 91 or 92, the bumpers are much cleaner...

Thanks Eric. Yours is damn sweet too. Mine was freaking scarey fast when I got it with only 33K on the clock. I dial back the performance a lot to make it more friendly on the street.

I would love to do a 965 91-92 but they seem to go for a lot more than the 930's. Depending how money goes in Europe I we will see.
I want to do some mild mods to get into the 400-450HP range, I think that will quench my speed needs ![]() |

My baby! 77 Euro 930. Front end is a Better Bodies Motorsport GT2 front end. As I recall I paid around 800 for it. ![]()

Heres the rear bumper...
The rear bumper is from GT Racing and is their RSR rear bumper. It does not come with the 3" vents in it. I did that to help deal with turbo heat scorching the paint on my bumper. ![]()

I will be changing the look of my front end at some point, and I think I will go with a '74 RSR look from GT racing.
![]() The first pic is my current look, which is the 935 DP add-on valence. I want to remove all my bumper lights, and front headlight washer motor and put on this 6 lb. front bumper. That would save at least 50 lbs. ![]() If you start with a 930 and go with lightweight front and rear bumpers, you are dropping 80-90 lbs. I also will most likely go with a fiberglass hood and maybe the front fenders if the other parts go well. That would put my car at 2,470 lbs with a full tank of gas. Thrown in some lightweight seats, odyssey battery, remove a/c...... Last edited by DDDD; 05-31-2007 at 07:47 PM.. |
