Looks well done... prolly built by some 'spare no expense' hedge-fund zillionaire by the looks of the interior and pussy-footed for only 2000 miles before he got too scared from driving it. That motor is sick though. I can only imagine how hard it would be to drive that thing around Manhattan. Wonder what the reserve is?

I'm not really considering the car myself. The styling is just not my taste. I prefer the 80's body style and a more stock appearance. I was just seeking opinions about the technical setup. It looks pretty extreme. Sorry I wasn't more clear.
I wonder about the accuracy of some of the technical details. 1) This does not really look like the turboS as that was a flatnose. 2) Shouldn't the "Powder rods" be spelled Pauter? 3) What are "nirasringed" heads? 4) Should "tail waist gates" be spelled "tial waste gates"? There are other typo's or misspellings but these are significant errors. If they guy that paid for these parts posted the ad he likely would have spelled these items better as they would be on his invoices.

From the tone of the ad, this car is probably being sold on consignment for a guy who just wants move on to something else. Probably had someone type up and fax the stats over to the dealer, who then got a lot of the details/ spelling wrong himself as well... see this kind of thing a lot on ebay, ironically a lot with the high-end stuff being sold by 3rd parties. It doesn't necessarily detract from the validity or integrity of the car or build, but If i were seriously interested in this car, would ask to speak to the present owner, and go see the car in person, as i doubt i will sell the first go round on Ebay. This car would smoke any real 3.6 S, which only made 385 in stock trim, and had the rear intakes but i think was indeed only made as a slant-nose.
![]() Good write-up on the 3.6 S http://www.flachbau.com/1994s.html

Looks like what I'll end up with if I don't quit spending money
![]() Considering this car should probably sell at $40K to $50K, I'd be concerned with rust. Even my '79 which has always lived in Texas is showing some rust.

I seem to recall that car being listed before and some talk on the Rennlist. If I remember correctly, Bello had something to do with the build. One thing is for sure, I'll bet it scoots.

If it sells cheap enough, I'd be tempted to transplant that engine/transmission into a body that is more stock.
Will that transmission hold all that torque?

Ah, that would explain the dyno number.

Trannies don't come any stronger than the G50/50 according to the internet
![]() That 3.6 must of been hard to part with.

I really dig that car, nicely excecuted in everyway, I cannot imagine how that thing must accelerate. Definitely a high $$$ build!
But the yellow I just could not live with the yellow, funny how I have changed I thought yellow was a great color for sports cars 10years ago and now I just cannot stomach it. I am watching the auction to see what it brings home. Yasin

I know Eddie's name pops up from time to time but has anyone here spent any time with one of his engines? His engines and their respective outputs seem to almost be black magic. Does anyone have any details on one of his builds?

I wonder if this is sustainable HP or just a one shot dyno pull with the boost&fuel turned way up. Also what is scary , if this car is being offered by someone other than the original owner/builder, and the wrong people have been using/driving it, there may not be many hours left before refresh time. I think that without a good talk with the shop/person that built it, and they can recheck its current condition, would be a deal breaker for me. Also is there anyone on this board that is somewhat familiar with this type of set up that live in the area and would like to check it out? A chance to check out this car would be something I would jump at if it were near me.

Regarding the original at Sloan cars for over $100K. Not even sport seats ? What was the original orderer thinking of to have such a limited car built without all the good stuff.
