The most recent addition to the Matt Drendel family... the sister car to the one that 'backflipped' at lemans. He says that this ran lemans in 96 with Stuck driving.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() BTW, it's not official yet, but Reaper and i are planning a road trip to the tail of the Dragon when he comes to NC to check on his GTR replica from Dec 6-13. I asked Matt if we could come by and check out his historic turbo collection, and he said sure, and may even join us in the mountains with his modded 930. Again, things are contingent upon Reaper's car being done, but may do a road trip the mountains that weekend regardless. Any board members in the area more than welcome, Will solidify plans over next couple of weeks, so stay tuned for announcement. The 930/4 is running great with the new TEC-GT system, and just finishing tuning with MBC and wideband, as well as rear coilovers to reduce squat. Full report to follow.

![]() ![]() I spoke with the shop and confirmed my plane ticket from Dubai to LAX yesterday...so unless I poke a tree from California to North Carolina its on like Donkey Kong! I have 100% assurance the car will be done in time. NOW does everyone see where I got my inspiration for not-so-small winglets? This trip is going to be perfect...the shop mounted headlights today and mirrors....I CAN"T WAIT!!!!

As to the road trip, we will try and schedule it on the weekend if there is enough interest from board members, otherwise, it will be during the week, as Reaper has to fly back to Iraq from TX on the 13th. Reaper, sent you an email about stuff. Sounds like the guys at the shop are rolling along right on schedule.

Nice, no doubt thats nice, but...
maybe its an optical illusion or maybe sister car means it ran different bodywork..check out this at 8 seconds in...doesnt it look like there are a lot more curves in the mid-body and front arches on the car in the video...http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=wM4guvo6Ifo On the other hand, maybe those curves are what contributed to the lift and hence the updated bodywork?
