Thoughts on intercooler design?

Hello all
Had a question on what I am planning as far as IC and piping
Since I am using 934 headers the turbo (T36) will be sitting in the middle of the car, I was thinking of running a Y pipe directly off the turbo and splitting the piping to each side of the car
The intercooler could then be built twin turbo style (similar to the MODE full bay)
Obviously space is a big issue here (esp. on passenger side) but I think if this could be done it would give very good flow and keep options open for possible future plans
Thoughts, comments and suggestions would be greatly appreciated
john

This sounds like a good plan if you have good fabrication skills or a good fabricator. Obviously you'll want to keep the areas consistant between the single compressor outlet and the combined Y outlets or better yet, gradually increase in area from the compressor to the IC.
