Very cool cars, thanks for sharing.
Wonder how much the electric car cost to build?

Brian,
If I were you I wouldn't be promoting them. They don't have exhaust systems. Cole |

What sort of "disposal fees" do you think will be associated with these cars?

Wonder if you could hook up a speaker system (public PA) that broadcasts a Ferrari F40 exhaust
note when you stomp the accel? I’m all for green, but I like my wife to smell like exhaust fumes after a spirited drive ![]()

Ha, no I'm not promoting them, actually calling them out. They only tell half of the story.
Those cars are horrifically expensive to build using dry cell technology and they don't tell you that the pollution is transfered not removed. Do they think making batteries and electricity is a pollution-free process? Ever heard of pollution credits? Companies buy these from each other to get a free pass to pollute on a grand scale. Hiding the pollution is a great way to sell folks on the technology. We old folks want cool sounding fuel efficient clean burning internal combustion engines that run on something besides foriegn oil. They've had 100 years to figure this out and purposely have not done so. The young kids may embrace electric cars. Ricers sound pretty much like a giant Electrolux anyway.

On the Datsun - He comes off very cocky and overbearing. His 1200 is quick, 11.5 Qtr mile is blazing fast.
Ironic that his electric car needs to be plugged in to be charged, and that electricty probably comes from a coal fired Power Plant!! Yasin

When you have to replace the batteries it's going to make Porsche parts look really cheap.
Oh NO !!! It's finally happened; we have turned into our fathers. Cole Last edited by cole930; 12-30-2008 at 01:04 PM.. |
