Hey Goran, what happened to the 'ItsFun' Turbo

Goran, stumbled across these cool pix from an event in Gotlandring Sweden and got to thinking about the ItsFun Monster. What is the latest? The Black 934 is hot... do you know the owner? Makes me itch to do a black 'wrap' on mine

I got a new job couple of years ago so I haven't been involved in this project for a while. I heard that car went dragracing with drag radials and did pretty well (sub-10 sec time). New guys are doing the wrenching now so I'm not in the loop anymore.

Regards

The Black 934 is my friends car. It´s actually green metalic and not black. It is a very nice car with 556hp.

OK, thanks SWE930. I think i have seen pix of that car in green elsewhere. Can you tell us more about the motor (running CIS or EFI?), those centerlocks or have any more pix in action?

Goran, thanks. One of my all-time favorite cars and build threads.

Thanks Gabe! (Hey, isn't that your 935 tail without the splitter?) Yup, that's the pix i remember seeing. Hopefully SWE930 will chime back in with some more specs on the car. Really is beautifully done.

Well, he is running CIS. It´s a single turbo engine, air cooled intercooler. 1,2bar boost.

Here is a photo with the color.

Justin: the center part of that tail is raised up too much and has louvers all the way forward more like the DP cars mid section of the tail top.

Still a lovely tail though.

Its just so potent and beautiful...centerlock wheels just really bring out the best in the bodywork styling IMHO.

I love that car! Are you able to get us more details and perhaps some better photos?

Cheers

Thanks Zeb (hey, i thought zeb was dead?)

That car is off the chain hot! Looks like he is running some form off contemporary 17 or 18" centerlocks. Dont usually like the larger sizes but it works here.

That black would look good tho.....

Not dead.. yet..
They wheels are 16" BBS magnesium centers (Like the ones on real 934s) But with 17" BBS rims. Just right IMHO

zeb930: What tire sizes are you running front and rear on those 17" wheels? The 17's i'm running up front (315/35/17) on my car seem to have a huge side wall compared to yours. I went the same route with the 16" centers and 17" rim halves...its impossible to find good and wide 16" tires these days.

Just to clear things out. It´s not zeb930´s car. It´s a friend of ours. I think he is running Kumho 315 rear and 275 in the front.

Gotcha, thanks for the clairification. I was looking for the aspect ration for the side wall height.
