slantnose oil line interference
Anyone else getting front oil cooler line interference in the slant nose. My lines go between the back of the pop up headlight and the tire. When the wheel is turned to the left I have about 1-1/2" clearance. I'm getting rubbing under hard turning or while in a turn I hit a dip. I don't see any other way to run the lines in the fender well. I'm considering running the lines inside the trunk to by pass this. I would bring them in where the hard lines end, then back out by the cooler.
How did the factory deal with this when they mounted the cooler in the front?

I want to say the factory did run them through the trunk.

They did in the Special Wishes cars with the high output engines. However, I still get an occasional rub right where the lines connect when the wheel is full lock (to the right, I believe). Didn't have it until I went to 17" Fikse 8" fronts with 235/45 tires.

Did they use the stock hard lines then put a 22.5d bend or coupler where it comes into the trunk?
I'm currently using the 245/35/17's on 9x17's.

Yes, you know where the couplers are for the short lines going to the Carrera front wheelwell? They attached the hoses there and then redirected them through the trunk, then down through the front bulkhead connecting to the cooler.
