West coast tracks: Northern California (Laguna/Sears Pt/Thunderhill), Southern California (Willow/Buttonwillow), Oregon (PIR), Washington (Kent)...or Pahrump, NV?

The off-track driving can be more scenic in the coastal Pacific Northwest, but it'll likely be rainy. Wash State Police are notoriously draconian in speed enforcement. Portland is a long haul from SoCal (18 hrs or so?). But it's absolutely gorgeous up there. And Portland has the highest concentration of adult entertainment outside the San Fernando Valley.

Laguna Seca/Sonoma are worthwhile. Anyone know the roads Excellence magazine uses as their super secret test loops in that area?

Then again, Pahrump has Vegas.

West Coast all the way

Well,

Around Laguna Seca would be great scenery, but man its loaded with Highway Patrol in Monterey and Salinas, speaking from experience of getting a ticket near Monterey its a pain in the Azz.... I found a great 2 lane road that is deserted between 101 and the 5, coming home from Monterey Historic Festivals this year. Its further south of XXX XXXXX town, in a different County with less 5-O. I d vote for sometime between January and March of next year, as the later the better for me, to get my car back on the road in time... either way it will be kickazz. That would be great to see some of the guys come out from the east coast Octurbofest.

Sonoma could be good, nice area up there with the potential to get into troube in the Bay Area, one night... haha.... where ever it would be would be great. I think weatherwise somewhere between Central and Southern California would be good, as I would think Pacific Northwest, will be pretty Rainy.. no offense to the guys up there...

B...

Coast line South of Santa Barbara..

Dave B. from TRE is putting together the Targa California for April 7-9. That's central/Southern California.

Welcome to the left coast Reaper. As for the Targa California I don't think they let in anything new than like 73, correct me if I'm wrong.
