LED boost gauge

when i bought my 930 several years ago, it came with an andial "s" type LED boost gauge, which I now want to replace with a vacuum-operated boost gauge. is there any after-market interest in the LED boost gauges? i saw one on ebay with a $900 "buy it now." thought that was crazy.

No. They are worthlesss, unreliable and look tacky. Send it to me and I get rid of it for you...

Just kidding. They have value, but I don't know what. While they do look cool, I think they really aren't that accurate IIRC.

The $900.00 one was put up there from MS RoadRace.... They ALWAYS have stuff WAY over priced!! Dont get me wrong, from time to time, they have unobtainum stuff, but the prices...WOW

I also have one of these guages...in the factory box... I only want $400.00 for it.. and I have had it for sale for awhile.... it has not sold, so that should give you some sorta idea what the market is right now for these guages... FWIW

Awe hell Brad... I'm just talking period at this point! Cause I'm going outta my mind.. it's 73 degrees here.. finally! I was headed to the garage to get some work in on the Turb when the significant other called to remind me we have to "leave at 4:00 to see Crque du Soleil ! I mean that's cool, but WTF.. I want to get my car back on the road!!

Ok.. so, way off topic here.. sorry to mess up your thread zaman fu!

Like I said, love the look of them wish the gauge were more accurate.. however if the price is ever right.. I may pick one up/take it off someones hands. So keep me in mind.

Paul

no worries about crashing the thread. i will be getting a vacuum-actuated one soon, so i'm willing to sell the LED gauge as soon as it's out of the car, which will be in a couple of weeks. for those who would rather see before they buy, i'm in san francisco.
