Our son's nursery...done Porsche style!!
As I know some of us Turbo guys dont really go inot the 911 forum very much...here is a copy of the post I put in the 911 forum... enjoy!!
Our son, Braxton will be born this Tuesday.. and I thought that I would share with you the idea that my wife came up with. I did not have a hand in the idea. She painted the designs on the wall, and then we did Braxton's name in the Porsche font that I found on the net... we changed the "x" a little as I did not like the way the "x" was in true P font..... We were looking for a different design " a certain Porsche shilloette", but could not locate the right one. As I was looking though some blueprints of Porsches, I stumbled upon the GT-2..and the wife agreed, we needed to have it. Here are the pics..... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Wow Brad - you're wife is not only quite talented... but apparently quite f'n *COOL*! Her idea? Nice! Great execution, all of it.
Damn, suuuuure freakin' beats the Bambi scene on one side of my son's room and the life sized Winnie the Pooh tree & characters on the other - or the princess castle / rolling meadows, streams, and bridges we had done for my girls' room. Damndamn!! Impressive. We did the exact same cribs for all ours (tho lighter stain), those are great. Make real nice full beds when done, saves spending the $$$ thrice. Congrats on the boy! 1st? Nothing like a mini-me to guide along and hand things down to. Enjoy every second of it, goes by soooo fast... |

Very nice! My wife's disinterest in the 930 has rubbed off on my kids so I enjoy it alone...

Brad,
That is so cool! You got a great wife! Good taste and very talented. Quote:
My wife's the same way about my hobby (motocross) and so I'm almost alone at this. My daughter likes to go watch supercross but my older teenage son wants no part of this. Also, my whole family can't figure why I'm crazy about the 930 thing!

I showed my wife, she's amazed there are nuts like me out there... the cool thing is that the 2nd word my daugher learned how to spell is P-O-R-S-C-H-E and not from me, she got it from looking at the letters on the rear reflector. Her first word spelled was her name...
good luck!!!

HAHA..funny!! infraredcalvin, I would love for one of Braxton's first words to be Porsche.. BUT, If he is my son...and he spends any amount of time by me... which he is.. his first word will probably be the F-bomb... I have tried to stop...but OMG, what a bad habit!!!!
