				Just another boring video

I've been trying to do a decent video whilst driving and finally managed to mount the camera to my liking. Still, it was shaking pretty bad but YouTube's "anti-shake" software took care of that (but results in some weird mophrhing of focus, etc).

Anyway, it is indeed boring and the only clue that it's from the interior of a 930 is the front fenders and the sound of the WG opening in the one and only pass I did. So, this isn't action packed and if you have 7+ minutes of your life to waste then feel free to watch. What it does show is the stunning dead-dry-brown basalt ancient lakes and canyons that are where I live. Stark beauty, we call it, as we yearn for something alive and green. This is more of a geography lesson than anything else. If you get too bored, then at least fast forward to 4.50 minutes and see the shot I took of Dry Falls....which would have put Niagra to shame back in it's hay day. There are a few of us on Pelican that know what central Washington State is like; some actually go out of their way to vacation here as an excuse to put some color into their skin (you west side Coasties, you know who you are) ![]() Ancient desert lakes - YouTube And if you're at all interested, here's a cool link that explains the history and shows some stellar pictures and ultralight flyover of the area. All the result of an ancient flood from some lake in Montana that let loose and carved out this area a couple zillion years ago. Channeled Scabland Eastern Washington Ice Age Floods Lake Missoula Done...enough...next time I'll do some action full-boost-in-twisties-near-death videos.

Great scenery, nice open roads, I don't know how you could keep your foot out of it for that long though

![]() What camera is that, I've been thinking about picking up a gopro and doing some of the same, although I don't think I want to document my driving.... ever...

Yes, very hard to keep the speed down. Got popped by a hidden instant-on radar shortly after passing that car....never saw the officer but luckily I was within 5 mph of the limit at the time.
