I would think you could safely add another 0 to the $25K then triple it. ( if real and correct as originally raced)

In the ad it says fresh 3.2. What does that mean? Does it mean a 3.2 engine was swapped in? That would be hard to believe.

935's didn't use the longer stroke 930 crankshaft.
I don't remember any 935's of 3.3 liter displacement but maybe there were some. They used the short stroke crankshaft so the engine could turn higher rpms making horsepower at high speeds and keep doing it reliably during a 24 hour endurance race or a sprint race. Some 935's were 3 liter and some were 2.8 liter, it all depended on the track and gearing used and the choice of the crew chief/team manager and drivers. Same thing with the 962. |

Legitimate 935 factory race cars with history are currently advertised at $850,000 (US).

It belongs to a Porsche race shop that i have used over the years. I would buy it in a NYS for my TT running gear if I had not started with another vintage eligible chassis before this became available ( same shop by the way). I could inspect it for anyone who may want a 3rd party input however Chris @ CS is way more knowledgeable than I and is a stand up guy.

BTW, IIRC, the factory ran a 3.2 motor in addition the 2.8

This car is the bad azz real deal with a horseshoe intercooler...
![]() Joest driving it at Daytona... ![]() However, the lame listing and the fact that most 935s of this caliber trade hands privately these days make me suspect that the owner is just testing the waters. Ebay is the wrong place for a car like this.
