Cristine is going to get open heart surgry
Yes her motor has to come apart. Went to take her for a drive two weeks ago ,got down the road &she made some valve train noise. Oil pressure was fine but I brought her back. Few days later I drain her oil, oil out of tank real dark but no metal drain the motor same. I take down the sump plate, damm gold mine!!

Well it's about damn time u showed us pix of that intercooler setup! Sorry that it had to be under these circumstances tho
![]() Hey, look at the bright side. 15 years of $hit eating grins aint too bad... you gotta be lusting after more power about now to go with her nasty Gruppe 4 looks. I see the opportunity to justify building a really HOT motor in your future. ![]()

Very interesting. Curious as to why the placement of the intercooler behind the rear wheel, did you buy the car like this -or- did this install yourself? I cannot see any openings in the body work to flow air through the intercooler...or did I miss something? Based on the picture that shows the size of the intercooler with the wastegate infront of it...it looks undersized..?
Educate me. Yasin

The intercooler is set on a angle ,it goes from the bottom of extension to top of fender. Basicly the fender is a tunnel . Works quiet well.
![]() It's bigger than the oil tank. It was in the car when I bought it, but I replumbed it . |

Sorry no help on the Turbo numbers, but I vote your engine jack/lift as the most innovative
![]() I struggled with a g'dam ATV lift and a square piece of 3/4 plywood for most of the winter! The plywood was hiding parts I wanted to touch. Good luck with your rebuild!

georgeinhere...
Congrats on your purchase.. I remember that you were looking for an early 911. Saw your post regarding the Turbo, but assumed it was something already in the stable. Anyway, you've made a great purchase and welcome to the dark side. Of course the man who brings beer is always welcome! Turboo934: Good luck with Cristine... the beer should help! Paul

I have always been wanting to run the 930 on the roads around town, not quite the same in an F350 SD. Got a place in Black Lake, just can't seem to quite get out there in the summer... I'll keep my eyes open for your purple beast when I get out there next!
